Liebe Freunde,

Sonntag, 06. März 2022 um 19.30 Uhr MEZ (german time)

Peace Prayer with Young People from Central and Eastern Europe

Dear Friends,

More than two years ago we met for our “3rd International Days of Encounter” in Frankfurt. We fondly think back on those days, the many encounters, joint prayers and also social gatherings.

We also spoke much about our joint house Europe. In this, peace was particularly important to us. Yet, we are now experiencing: a war is happening in Europe. Ukraine has become a victim of military aggression. “War is always a defeat of humanity” – these are the words of the Holy Pope John Paul II. We empathize with the victims of this war and we show solidarity to all who are attempting to help locally and attempting to restore peace.

During our encounters we prayed together. That continues to connect us today.

Thus, we would like to invite you to also pray together with us now for peace in Ukraine and in all of Europe. We would like to do so online via Zoom.

The joint prayer will take place on:

Sunday, 06 March 2022 at 19.30 h CET (German time)

We would be very happy to see you again then and to pray with you! If you’d like: Send us a message if you can join!

Yours truly,

Rolf Müller, Pastoral Worker
